Are you ready to launch a therapy intensive offer?

You’ve seen therapists offer intensives. You’ve watched others successfully shift their schedules, increase their income, and create more freedom. Maybe you’ve even considered doing the same—but something’s been holding you back. If you're wondering whether now is the right time to launch a therapy intensive offer, you’re in the right place!

Hi! Hannah Ciampini—a therapist and business coach who helps clinicians across the U.S. design and launch intensive offers that are profitable, ethical, and sustainable. Whether you’re just starting your private practice or looking to scale, this guide will help you determine if you’re ready to take the leap (spoiler alert, I bet you are).

What Is a Therapy Intensive Offer?

A therapy intensive is a focused format that allows clients to engage in deeper work over a condensed period—typically through half-day, full-day, or multi-day sessions. These premium offerings can be transformative for clients while giving you a more spacious and aligned business model.

What I love about working intensively is that you can use this style with whatever therapy model you’re currently using. I’m an EMDR and Brainspotting therapist so that’s what I use when offering intensives but you can use whatever model you already are using. Intensives essentially just mean longer, more focused sessions!

Signs You're Ready to Launch a Therapy Intensive Offer

1. You’re Feeling Burnt Out by Back-to-Back Sessions

If your current caseload leaves you drained and disconnected from your passion, it may be time to reimagine your model. Intensives allow for fewer clients and more focused work, giving you energy and income back.

2. You’re Already Trained in a Specialized Modality and Confident in Your Skills

You don’t have to be an expert in everything, but a solid clinical foundation is key. Whether you’re using EMDR, Brainspotting, or another evidence-based method, intensives are a powerful way to deepen your work.

3. You Attract Clients Who Are Highly Motivated

Ideal intensive clients are often those who are ready for real transformation. If you notice people reaching out wanting to work with you quickly or make progress fast, that's a strong signal your audience is a good fit.

4. You Want More Flexibility in Your Schedule

One of the biggest benefits of intensives is the freedom they offer. More time for yourself, your family, or other income streams—without sacrificing the quality of care you provide.

5. You’re Ready to Offer Premium Services

Intensives are typically priced higher than traditional sessions because of the time, prep, and energy involved. If you’re ready to own your value and step into a premium service model, you’re on the right track.

What Might Be Holding You Back?

Even when the signs are there, fear and uncertainty can creep in. You might be thinking:

“I don’t know how to structure an intensive.”

“What if no one signs up?”

“I’m not sure how to price this.”

“What if other’s judge me for charging more?”

That’s where coaching comes in. I help therapists across the U.S. walk through these exact fears and launch intensives or other specialty offers that feel aligned, ethical, and financially sustainable.

Ready to Launch with Confidence?

You don’t need a huge following or a perfect plan to get started. You just need the right support, a clear framework, and permission to do things differently.

If you’re a therapist ready to:

  • Move from burnout to balance

  • Offer deep healing experiences for your clients

  • Build a private practice that actually works for you

…I’d love to help. I offer coaching to therapists nationwide who are ready to integrate intensives into their work.
