Design a Boutique Therapy Practice Built Around Intensives, Not Burnout.
Create high-impact offers, raise your income, and reclaim your time.
You Can Have $10k+ Months Without Burning Yourself Out.
If you are seeing a full caseload but still feeling financially stretched, exhausted, and unsure how long this pace is sustainable, you are not alone. Many experienced private practice therapists are working nonstop, carrying deep emotional labor, and wondering why the income still does not reflect their expertise.
You might recognize yourself here:
You see 20 to 30 clients a week and still worry about money
Your schedule is packed, but there is no room to rest or take time off
You finish notes late at night because your days are stacked back to back
You feel guilty raising rates or changing your model, even though you are burnt out
You love your clients, but you are tired of working this hard for this little.
I created The Burnout to Boutique Blueprint for therapists who want a different way forward. A way to earn consistent, sustainable income without adding more sessions. A way to work fewer hours, serve clients more deeply, and build a premium, ethical private practice that supports your life instead of draining it.
You do not need more clients. You need a model designed for impact, income, and longevity.
You are not just tired. You are stretched thin.
Your days are packed with back-to-back sessions, leaving little space to reset, think, or breathe
Documentation spills into evenings and weekends, blurring work-life boundaries
Lunch is rushed or skipped entirely, if it happens at all
Time off feels stressful because income stops when you do
Even with a full caseload, money still feels tight, making it hard to save, rest, or plan ahead with confidence
You know you could raise your rates or change your model, but the risk feels heavy and the path forward unclear
You care deeply about your clients, yet you’re starting to question whether therapy is meant to feel this draining long-term
Here’s the truth:
You do not need more clients or longer hours. You need a different model.
I’ll show you how to build a boutique, intensive-based practice that allows you to work less, earn more, and create a life that actually feels sustainable, without sacrificing your values, your ethics, or your nervous system.

The Blueprint
-
From “I’m exhausted and stuck” → “I understand exactly what needs to change.”
Most experienced therapists don’t lack skill, they’re stuck inside a model that was never built for sustainability. You’ve tried better boundaries, more organization, and “self-care,” but your schedule still feels relentless and your income still feels capped.
In this module, we slow down and get precise about what’s actually burning you out so you don’t build an intensive offer on a shaky foundation.
You will:
Identify where your current model drains you most (back-to-backs, consults, admin, undercharging, etc.)
Clarify which problems in your practice are structural vs personal
Define the specific kinds of clients and issues that lend themselves to intensives
Begin shifting your identity from “weekly therapist” → “high-impact clinician”
Create an Intensive-Ready Niche that aligns with your strengths and ethics
Why this matters for intensives:
Clarity prevents you from creating an offer that looks good on paper but burns you out in real life. This is the emotional and strategic groundwork that makes everything that follows actually work.By the end of Module 1 you will have:
A clear niche that supports intensives
A preliminary “ideal intensive client” profile
A sense of relief that you are not the problem — the model is
-
From “intensives sound cool but I’m overwhelmed” → “I know exactly what my version looks like.”
You’ve probably watched others do intensives and wondered:
How many hours? In person or virtual? One day or three? What about prep? What about follow-up?Instead of copying someone else’s model, you design your signature structure.
You will:
Decide your preferred format (1-day, 2-day, 3-day, hybrid, virtual, or in-person)
Determine how many hours feel:
Clinically sound
Nervous-system friendly for you
Realistic for your ideal client
Map your client journey:
Intake → Preparation → Intensive days → Integration
Create a simple clinical framework so intensives are not just “long sessions,” but intentional treatment
Important:
You do not have to eliminate all 50-minute clients. We design this so intensives can grow alongside your current caseload while you transition strategically.By the end of Module 2 you will have:
A clear, repeatable intensive structure
A simple client journey map
Confidence that your model is ethical, effective, and sustainable
-
From guilt and undercharging → confident, ethical pricing.
You’ve likely spent years undercharging, overgiving, and feeling guilty for wanting financial stability — even with a full caseload.
This module connects pricing directly to your life, not just your hourly rate.
You will:
Define how many hours you actually want to work per week
Decide how many intensives per month would feel spacious
Calculate your ideal monthly income based on your desired lifestyle
Compare:
Weekly therapy income
Intensive model income
Set pricing that reflects:
Your expertise
The depth of the work
Your energy and boundaries
You’ll clearly see how intensives allow you to earn more while working less — without sacrificing ethics or care.
By the end of Module 3 you will have:
Clear intensive pricing
A realistic monthly income plan
A schedule that supports your nervous system instead of depleting it
This is where burnout starts to genuinely loosen.
-
From invisible or misunderstood → clearly positioned and magnetic.
You’ve probably tried marketing before but it felt awkward, generic, or misaligned. You don’t want to hustle, but you do want clients who “get” your work. This is where that niche clarity work we did in module 1 will really come in handy; Now we know exactly who we need to direct our marketing to.
Is this module we help you talk about intensives with clarity and confidence.
You will:
Create simple, client-friendly explanations of:
What intensives are
Who they are for
Why they work
Learn how to describe your work without sounding salesy or clinical-jargony
Shift your messaging from “traditional therapist” → “trusted intensive provider”
Clarify your value so ideal clients feel seen instead of confused
By the end of Module 4 you will have:
Clear, authentic language about intensives
Messaging that attracts your ideal clients
Confidence explaining your work in consults, on your website, and online
-
From “why can’t people find me?” → “I know exactly how to be discovered.”
You don’t need to become an SEO expert — but you do need to be findable.
In this module you will:
Learn how clients actually search for therapy and intensives
Optimize (or create a plan to optimize):
Your website
Your blog
Your Google My Business profile
Identify keywords that align with your niche and location
Create a simple blogging strategy that showcases your expertise
This is where your practice shifts from word-of-mouth only → consistent, organic inquiries.
By the end of Module 5 you will have:
A clear Google visibility plan
At least one SEO-informed blog idea
A stronger online presence as an intensive therapist
-
From chaotic admin → calm operations.
Many therapists avoid intensives because they fear more paperwork, more complexity, and more stress. This module flips that assumption.
You will build simple systems for:
Intake and screening
Scheduling intensives
Payment structure
Paperwork and consent
Follow-up and integration sessions
We focus on ease, boundaries, and flow, not complicated tech.
By the end of Module 6 you will have:
Clear processes that make intensives easy to run
Less admin overwhelm
More mental space for deep clinical work
-
From awkward or avoidant → calm and confident.
Even great offers fail without strong enrollment skills.
Here you will:
Learn a simple, ethical consult call structure
Practice explaining your intensive offer
Develop language for common objections (cost, time, fear of change, etc.)
Clarify who is a good fit — and who isn’t
You move from “I hate sales” → “I feel grounded and clear.”
By the end of Module 7 you will have:
A repeatable consult call flow
Confidence talking about money
Stronger boundaries around fit and capacity
-
From overwhelmed → prepared and strategic.
In the final module, everything comes together into a realistic rollout plan.
You leave with:
Your finalized niche
Your intensive structure
Your pricing
Your messaging
Your systems
Your schedule
Most importantly, you get a 3–6 month transition plan so you can:
Gradually increase intensives
Slowly reduce weekly hours (if you want)
Maintain financial stability
Avoid panic or burnout
You finish not feeling rushed, but grounded, confident, and excited again.
This is for you if...
You are an experienced private practice therapist who wants consistent five figure months without seeing clients back to back all day.
You are working 20 or more sessions a week and still feel underpaid, overextended, or capped financially.
You want to earn more by working differently, not by adding more clients or hours
You are craving deeper, more meaningful work with fewer, highly aligned clients
You are ready to design a boutique private practice that supports your income, energy, and long-term sustainability
This isn’t for you if...
You’re looking for quick hacks or cookie-cutter business tips.
You’re not ready to change your current systems or pricing.
You want to stay on insurance panels indefinitely.
You are not quite ready to question your current way of working or explore a different approach to your private practice
You are not in a season where prioritizing your income, time, and energy feels possible or aligned right now
The Vision
Imagine starting your day without rushing or dread. You sip your coffee while it is still hot, take a walk between sessions, and feel grounded and present when you sit down with clients. You work with fewer people, do deeper work, and still earn enough to feel calm and secure.
This is not about sales gimmicks and hustling. It is about scaling and simplifying your practice and expanding what actually matters. This is the freedom of a boutique private practice.
You start your mornings without rushing.
Coffee stays hot.
There is space between sessions to breathe, move your body, or step outside.
Midday walks.
Pilates in the middle of the day.
A schedule that no longer feels like survival mode.
You work with fewer clients, but the work is deeper and more meaningful.
No more back to back sessions all day.
You feel present in the room again instead of counting the minutes until the next client.
You are excited to show up because your energy is no longer depleted.
You earn enough to feel calm and secure.
You earn enough to feel calm and secure.
Time off does not mean panic or lost income.
Trips feel doable.
Savings grow.
Money no longer feels tight despite a full calendar.
You are no longer taking every client who reaches out.
You are not dependent on insurance-driven volume. You have clarity around who you serve, what you offer, and why clients choose you.
You work with aligned, high-commitment clients who respect your time and value your expertise.
You can say yes to your child’s school events.
You are home for dinner.
Evenings belong to your life, not unfinished notes.
There is room for your relationship, your health, and the parts of you that exist outside of therapy.
Why It Works
Because I’ve been exactly where you are.
I’m not teaching theory or recycled business advice. And I’m not going to tell you to just clear your whole calendar and hope intensives start booking. This program is built from the same blueprint I used to rebuild my own practice after burnout — in a way that actually felt sustainable.
There’s no hustle, no scripts, and no pretending to be a “business coach.”
Just practical, therapist-led strategy rooted in ethics, boundaries, and clarity.
You don’t need:
A massive following.
To niche down by diagnosis.
To live in a large area.
To become someone you’re not.
You need a practice model that reflects who you are, supports your nervous system, and gives you your life back.
Meet Hannah
Hi! I’m Hannah, a licensed therapist who knows firsthand how easy it is to build a private practice that looks “successful” on the outside but feels completely exhausting on the inside.
There was a season when my days were booked back to back for eight hours straight. No real lunch breaks. Barely enough time to stand up between sessions. Notes got pushed to the evening and were usually finished after dinner was made, my kid was in bed, and I was already half asleep on the couch. I felt constantly behind and like I could never quite catch up.
I loved my clients and cared deeply about the work, but the pace was not sustainable. Even with a full calendar, my income still felt capped. Time off felt stressful instead of restorative, and I started quietly wondering if this was just what a therapy career was supposed to feel like.
Things shifted when I stopped trying to squeeze more out of the traditional weekly therapy model and started redesigning my practice instead. I moved into a private pay, boutique model and began offering therapy intensives in a small town where most people thought high income required insurance panels and packed schedules.
By working differently, not harder, I built consistent five-figure months while seeing fewer clients and doing deeper work. My calendar finally had breathing room. I had time for midday walks, movement, travel, and actually being present for my family. I started enjoying my work again.
The Burnout-to-Boutique Blueprint is the process I wish I had when I was figuring this out on my own. It is designed for experienced therapists who want to earn more, work less, and build a sustainable, ethical private practice that supports their life, not consumes it.
I’m not going to tell you to get rid of all of your hourly clients like a lot of programs might, because I know how unrealistic that feels. But I am going to show you how to make shifts to an intensive only practice in a grounded and sustainable way.
